Problem: Error occurs due to poor connectivity in the fuser connectors

Fix: Check all gears in fuser before anything. Any jump that occurs within the unit could cause connection issues.

If you are replacing the fuser connector, replace the connector on the frame aswell.

The connector on the frame comes in an AC loom. Also attached to this loom is the power switch of the machine(very annoying i know). This loom is to be replaced if this error occurs.

Please don't just do the fuser ...

Problem: This error occurs due to the fixing belt shifting too far over to one side of the unit.

Fix: There is not a definate fix for these errors as i am sure we are all aware. Things to try in the field when dealing with this error is:

Check all 3/4 sensors dealing with belt displacement

Check white gear and shaft.

Check all gears in fixing unit for broken teeth.

Check to see if belt is lubed correctly.

Check drive motors ...

Client: Too many

Problem: Jams in fuser with code O1OD seems to happen on A4 mostly but sometimes A3 as well.

Fix: Things to look out for when this jam occurs is the following:

Fans on the transport bed before fixing assembly. Look out for any dirt or fans not behaving correctly.

Secondly there are modded springs within the fixing assembly. ATI released for this fix.

Thirdly the inlet sensor of the fuser may get stuck in the up position causing ...

Client: The Gate

Engineers: Rich and Paul

Problem: After dealing with another issue where we had to take out a number of parts namely primary corona unit, ITB Unit etc, we put all the parts back in and at startup machine would error constantly. Had not screwed in Primary unit correctly causing poor contact of primary unit.

Fix: Must always screw in primary unit firmly.

As this was a fix for us this time, it may also be an ITB unit suction fan connector problem ...

This problem has arisen at 2 separate sites - Speak with Rich(VCCP) and Charlie(DLKW)

On both occasions it was a Q1 Rip upgraded to Q2 software. The text colour did not look the same as the graphic box behind it when using an Adobe product, even though they were exactly the same colour swatch.

As there is now no option for turning text/graphics to best on the version 2 software, we have to change other settings.

The settings to change are as follows:
